The last year has taken everyone on quite the journey. The workforce had ongoing obstacles, to say the least. Many companies are trying to determine when and how they should bring their employees back to work in the office. There is certainly a new way of operating, and some old methods will probably not come back. The majority of companies seem to be encouraging vaccinations to have their workforce back in the office. Some of these in-person corporate workers returns are being taken in phases, while other employees never want to go back to the office. Many Americans would choose to work from home permanently if they had the option, even if they were not concerned about the virus.
Where Do We Go From Here?
It has been a challenging time for all of us, and many people are wondering what is next. There is certainly a strong encouragement of vaccination efforts. Officials have a goal to get millions vaccinated so that gatherings will not be restricted by 4th of July. Over 40 Fortune 500 companies employing more than 5 million people are working on their back-to-the-office efforts, some of which have begun returning to workspaces with protective measures in place, and others establishing timelines for workers to rejoin. Some corporations are waiting it out to see where the data leads. Businesses themselves have claimed to be encouraging employees to get vaccinated when they are eligible by actively helping them find clinics and holding on-site vaccination drives. There are many conflicting opinions on getting vaccinated, which is why personal research is advised. Many businesses have partnered with the Biden administration and others to push the “Move the Needle” campaign to get as many people as possible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. There are a small number of organizations mandating that their employees receive a vaccine to return back to work. Not all businesses are ready to have employees back in the office, while others are anxiously ready to move forward. Regardless of where your clients stand on the matter, hopefully they feel empowered to make a decision that is right for them. With all of the conflicting options and new regulations, it is more important than ever for your clients to secure staffing business insurance.
